I've Been There
I’ve been in a similar place myself. I was a teacher and personal trainer and ten years ago I just didn’t feel right. First I went to the doctor. He didn’t have any answers. I tried acupuncture, yoga, hypnosis, homeopathic drugs, chiropractic and went back to try multiple medical doctors. I took tests out the wazoo - mailing poop and spit to various labs trying to get answers.
I was miserable. My energy and zest for life were nearly gone. Being a Mom of young kids compounded the problem. Sure, I could tough it out, but over time it wore me down. Every month that went by was harder and harder. I was more irritable and was heading in the wrong direction, spending oodles of money on various tests and practitioners.
After about six years of struggling, I started to find some answers. Tidbits from random practitioners worked, then another, and another.
Then the pieces came together and the answer hit me - FOOD. I needed to get real - more real than I ever thought I had to be - on what I was putting in my body. With this knowledge, I jumped in, fully focused on understanding the power of food and how it interacted with my body.
I learned that doing it half-way doesn’t work. I got really clear on what foods do, what categories are susceptible to issues and how to spot patterns.
My journey was long and hard and I after I felt relief - after the pressure released - I knew I had to help others find a faster more direct path to healing - using food as medicine.
I've helped people increase their energy levels, be less irritable, lose weight and generally just feel better. And for many, they no longer need to always know where the nearest bathroom is. 💩
How I can help
If you want to go all in and really dig deep, this 90-minute consultation (phone/video/in-person) is the route for you. In this session, I’ll review your full health history, 3-5 days of food journals, and a full nutritional questionnaire that looks at metabolic health as well as brain health. We’ll use all of these tools to get to the heart of what may be causing you discomfort. I’ll present some ideas about how we can address your issues and we’ll spend most of our time together developing an individualized plan that fits your lifestyle AND sets you up for success. This could be dietary changes, grocery shopping tips, cooking tips, supplements, recipes, and/or lifestyle changes. Some clients walk away with a list of key dietary changes to make, while others require supplements to get their digestion back on track. It’s a different journey for each individual and I’m here to support you in every way possible. The price is $225 for a 90-minute phone/video or in-person consultation.
Please book at least 3 days in advance to allow you to fill out the required food journals.
After either evaluation you may choose to continue working together. Follow-up sessions are $60.
Follow up sessions are 45-minute sessions with me via phone/video/in-person once you’ve implemented the changes we’ve made based on your Individual Consultation. I may tweak your plan, we may find something that works better for you than another, or I may even pose a completely different solution. YOU are in control of when you book follow-up sessions based on when you feel you need help staying accountable or to accelerate your forward progress. YOU are in the driver’s seat!
