Start to finish course from starter care to baking off the perfect loaf!

Learn how to feed, store, and care for your starter: What to do when you go on vacation, what to do with excess starter, what to do when you think you’ve killed it, how to handle the hooch layer, and active starter versus discard.

Learn how to start your bread: hydrate your flour, stretch and fold techniques, creating tension, adding additional ingredients to your bread, and rising processes.

Learn how to cook off your bread and aftercare: transferring bread, simple scoring techniques, baking, cooling, cutting, and storage options.

Each participant goes home with a jar of starter, starter care instructions, bread recipe, and additional sourdough recipes!

About your instructor: Rose West has a passion for food, fitness, and bringing people together.  She started sourdough dough for herself and her family and quickly started teaching and sharing with others.  Whether you want to learn the basics of sourdough bread making or go beyond bread, she has got you covered!
