Batch Cooking / Meal Prep is a fantastic way to cook healthy meals for your whole (and very BUSY) family. Imagine you get home from your kid’s soccer practice (or basketball practice, or a PTA meeting, etc.) and it’s late and you still need to stay on top of homework and then tackle the bedtime routine.
The LAST thing you’re thinking about is firing up the stove, or heaven forbid, THE OVEN to make some dinner. Do you call for pizza delivery? Pull out something “kid friendly” from the freezer – which could be chemical loaded chicken nuggets, pizza, or burritos?
How about this? You open your fridge which now contains loads of beautiful containers of so many options that are all mix and matchable and you tell your family to “pick what you want” and just heat it up. Bam!
Batch Cooking is about making healthy food convenient. In class, we’ll make several entrees, side dishes and desserts. Come hungry as we’ll be sampling all of this delicious food (and yes, wine is ALWAYS involved!). All dishes are gluten free, dairy free and 100% delicious.
